Permissions and connectivity troubleshooting
Resolve camera, location, map, network, and upload problems.
Starting point
After signing in, use the bottom navigation to open Info → App & Device Info, then tap Refresh.
Camera problems
Camera permission is required
- Tap Allow camera if the app still has permission to ask.
- If no Allow button appears, open Android app settings and grant Camera permission manually.
- Return to the workflow and reopen the camera.
If the camera stays on Opening camera, restart the app. For capture or deletion errors, check free storage and retry.
Location problems
Permission required or location unavailable
- Grant foreground Location permission in Android settings.
- Turn on device location/GPS.
- Return to the affected screen and refresh location.
Mocked location detected
Disable the device's mock-location provider, then request a fresh location. A mocked location blocks SR order progression and entry to shop editing. Shop request forms have the validation limitation noted in their guides.
Map problems
- If no markers appear, refresh the source list; eligible items may lack valid coordinates.
- For Map could not be loaded, check connectivity and retry.
- If the user marker is missing, resolve location permission or service issues and retry from the error banner.
Network and data-loading problems
- In App & Device Info, confirm Internet is on.
- Return to the failed page and retry or refresh it.
- Retry failed login or submission after connectivity returns.
The app is not fully offline: visits, orders, deliveries, cash collections, and shop requests must create server records before related photos can be queued.
Upload problems
- Failed uploads retry automatically.
- Do not use Local Images Cleanup while files are pending, queued, uploading, or failed.
- The Home tracker counts only
pendingrecords, so All files uploaded does not prove there are no failed or other non-pending records.
See File upload tracker and Local images cleanup for the detailed status and cleanup behavior.
Update or version problems
If the app requires a newer native version, use App & Device Info → Download Latest App, install it, and reopen the app. For a downloaded OTA update, tap Relaunch when prompted. See App updates.
Test-user differences
The test SR has the documented distance bypass and random shop-request location. Test DSR users have no permission or connectivity bypass.
